You will need plenty of patience for this recipe. But I am sure it will be well worth the wait!
Ingredients will be, a bottle of vodka. A fifth I guess you would call the size. And you will need an unsweet bag of coconut flakes.
Use a quart jar and fill it full with the coconut, then fill to within 1 inch from the top of the jar with the vodka. Put a lid on it and store under the sink in a dark place for 3 to 6 months, while shaking the jar about 4 times a week.
I did tell you that this recipe would require patience did I not! But the end result will be forever premium coconut extract as you decant what you need into a small bottle. Now you smell the extract before you re-fill with vodka again to test to see if it is rancid.An (off smell) as there is oil in coconut. It should not be bad, but if it is pour out and make a new batch.
